SPICY PEPPER MUSHROOM MASALA



        Hi friends. Today I am going to share with you all a special spicy gravy which you will all love to prepare and eat. Mushroom is one of rich protein vegetable which can be used in all cuisines. We can use Mushroom as a substitute for other green vegetables (At some time we would get bored with green vegetables). This can be done without spending most of our time. This Mushroom Masala is done with only a few ingredients that are available in our home. Instead of munching chicken and mutton, we can go with this spicy Mushroom Masala.

PREPARATION TIME: 20 MINUTES.

INGREDIENTS:

Onion- 2 medium (chopped).

Tomato- 2 small (chopped).

Pepper- 2 tablespoons.

Turmeric- 1 teaspoon.

Chili Powder- 1 tablespoon.

Green chili- 4 nos.

Ginger- 1 inch.

Garlic- 4 cloves.

Curry leaves- ¼ cup chopped.

Coriander leaves- ¼ cup chopped.

Water- 1 cup.

Salt- Required.

FOR TEMPERING:

Oil- sesame oil 2 tablespoons.

Fennel seed- 1 teaspoon.

Cumin seed- 1 teaspoon.

Bay leaf- 1.

Cardamom- 3 nos.

Cloves- 3 nos.

For preparation I have a given a step-by-step procedure attached photo with it so that it would be easy for your understanding.

STEP 1:

Take a pan or kadai and place it on a stove.



STEP 2:

When the pan is hot add some oil. When the oil becomes hot add the given tempering’s.




STEP 3:

Then add onions, chilies, ginger garlic paste, and sauté them.



STEP 4:

When the onions become translucent, and the ginger garlic paste is cooked add the chopped tomatoes.



STEP 5:

After adding tomatoes, you can put the required salt so that the tomatoes will get cooked fast.





STEP 6:

Now add the turmeric powder, pepper powder, and chili powder (here I am using the home-made chili powder which is the mixer of so many spices) and sauté along with the onion and tomato.



STEP 7:

Stir the above mixer until the raw smell goes then add Mushroom and stir for 2 minutes.


STEP 8:

Now add 1 cup of water to the mixture.



STEP 9:

Now close the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.



STEP 10:

After 10 minutes you can feel the aroma in your house.



 Garnish this with a fresh chopped coriander leaf.

Now the rich and tasty spicy Mushroom Masala is ready to serve.



You can enjoy this with your family.

This spicy Mushroom Masala goes well with white rice, Idly, Dosa and chapati.
